Prof. Syed Afzalul Karim is a highly accomplished Dermatologist with an impressive educational background and extensive experience in the field. His journey in education began at Private School Jeshore, where he completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 1967. Continuing his education, Prof. Syed Afzalul Karim attended Govt. M.M. College Jeshore, where he completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 1969. This period of study further deepened his understanding of scientific principles and prepared him for the challenges ahead. 

Driven by a passion for medicine, Prof. Syed Afzalul Karim pursued his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree in Medicine at Chittagong Medical College. This comprehensive program provided him with a solid foundation in medical sciences and clinical practice. 

To further specialize in dermatology, Prof. Syed Afzalul Karim pursued a Diploma in Dermatology (DDV) from the University of Vienna. From 1992 to 1993, he studied under renowned experts in the field, honoring his expertise and expanding his understanding of dermatological conditions and treatments. 

Continuing his academic pursuits, Prof. Syed Afzalul Karim earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health & Medical Sciences, he sincerely worked into advanced research and studies, further augmenting his knowledge and contributing to the field of dermatology. 

Prof. Syed Afzalul Karim has held several significant positions throughout his career. Currently, he serves as the Senior Consultant and Chairman at Aurora Skin & Aesthetics, where he provides Specialist dermatological care to his patients. His role as a senior consultant allows him to utilize his vast knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions effectively.  Additionally, he has served as an Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College & Hospital retired 2016, where he imparted his wisdom and expertise to aspiring medical Students and medical professionals.
