Prof. Maj Dr Md Shahidullah is a distinguished Dermatosurgeon with a rich and diverse background, specializing in various facets of dermatology, including Skin, Venereology (VD), Sex, Allergy, Laser, and Cosmetic Dermatosurgery. His extensive qualifications and notable career milestones showcase his commitment to advancing dermatological care in Bangladesh.

Dr. Shahidullah began his academic journey by completing his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in January 1982, marking the inception of a remarkable medical career. Following this, he pursued further specialization with a Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology (DDV), becoming a Member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (MCPS), and achieving the distinguished title of Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS). His pursuit of excellence led him to attain the prestigious title of Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) from Glasgow, UK.

With a solid foundation in medical education, Dr. Shahidullah ventured into a dynamic professional career. He served with dedication in the Army Medical Corps from February 1983 to December 2008, contributing to healthcare and medical services. His leadership qualities became evident when he assumed the role of the Head of the Department of Dermatology at Shaheed Mansoor Ali Medical College and Hospital.

In the academic realm, Dr. Shahidullah demonstrated his commitment to education and professional development. He served as a member secretary of the Society, Faculty of Dermatology & Venereology, BCPS from 2013 to 2018, showcasing his active involvement in shaping the future of dermatology in Bangladesh. His leadership abilities were further recognized as he took on the role of Chairman of the same Faculty from 2018 to 2021.

He founded and served as the President of the Tele dermatology Foundation of Bangladesh (TDF), emphasizing the integration of technology in dermatological care. He worked as president, Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of Bangladesh, now Society of Dermatologic Surgeons of Bangladesh from 2019 to 2021.
